I understand if people choose the iPad for Procreate because it is an excellent creative tool and very easy to use, but you you can create art on a Galaxy Tab also. It isn't the only option (I just haven't tested the other apps fully and they're either not free or it's limited behind a paywall), and while not as polished or as powerful as Procreate, how good your illustrations are ultimately comes down to your own skills rather than the apps you use.
USING SKETCHBOOK APP FULL
However, I wanted to show that it's still possible to do full illustrations with a free app if you don't want to go for CSP's subscription model. My process isn't as clean and I'd say probably takes longer without clipping masks.

It still doesn't compete with CSP or Krita in terms of features and I definitely had to change my work flow. I decided to stick to Autodesk Sketchbook for now as it's entirely free and I wanted to test how much I could do with the app. I still think Krita is too buggy, but I am keeping an eye on this app as it is pretty feature rich. Due to this, I don't feel the need to always pay for CSP, so I try to use alternatives when I don't want to waste money on a subscription. I ocassionally take commissions, but I mostly do this as a hobby now. I know most people are put off by the subscription based model for Clip Studio Paint and I am also in two minds on whether to pay consistently.

I thought I'd write this post as many people ask if the Galaxy Tabs are a viable alternative to the iPad when it comes to illustrations.
